Develop unique, rich hues and subtle luster in a reduction flame by reducing the oxygen, or working inside the blue cone of your flame. Assortment contains 11 colors, about 11-1/2 to 16-1/2 gm per color. Delphi Tip Working inside the blue cone of your flame on an internal mix (single fuel source) torch provides a reducing atmosphere. To further reduce the oxygen content in the flame, a band of aluminum foil can be placed around your cool torch, covering the air intake holes. A reducing atmosphere can be created with a surface mix torch by reducing the oxygen pressure, or increasing the propane pressure. Always follow manufacturer recommendations for safety.
