This oil is an excellent medium for mixing paint enamels. It holds the color and still remains open. It has a thin and aromatic smell with the warm scent of cloves. Dries slowly, but burns out as the powders fuse into the glass. Excellent for tracing and fine detail work. 1 oz. 10 Oz. Water Friendly Medium
This unique binder holds the enamels to the glass during the painting stage of the process. It can be mixed to a variety of consistencies to fit your painting needs. This is an ideal binder for sifting and brush techniques like tracing, stippling, flood coating, and color wash. Just add water and a couple drops of this concentrate to the powders to give the enamels a smooth, creamy consistency. When the glass is fired the medium burns away cleanly without blistering or crazing the colors. Fuse Master Water Friendly Medium and Enamels are compatible with all glass manufacturers and can be painted, sifted or airbrushed for shading, detail work, and special effects in fusing, lampworking or blowing.
